We believe that it is vital for the children in the congregation to hear God's Word explained to them and it is our prayer that the Holy Spirit will use this Word to bring them to salvation through Jesus Christ.
	While the primary responsibility for the spiritual teaching of children rests with their parents we, in our congregation, seek to build on this by providing regular opportunities to explain the Bible to the children.
	We also believe that children need to have opportunities for recreation in a safe environment, supervised by Christian adults.
	With these objects in view our congregation provides the following range of activities for the young people of the church and their friends:

Sunday School: meets each Lord's day at 10.00am for about 45 minutes before the morning worship service.  This caters for children from pre-school age to young adults.

Covenanter Youth (CY): There are three CY groups for the young people in the church, divided by age group: Junior CY (4 to 7), Intermediate CY (8 to 11) and Senior CY (12 +).  The Senior CY meets each Lord's day following the evening worship service while the Junior CY meets on Friday evenings at 7.00pm. 

 
Holiday Bible Club: held annually for 5 days in the summer and is for children of primary school age, not only from within the congregation but also for their neighbours and friends.
