Our Beliefs

bullet

The Reformed Presbyterian Church of Ireland accepts that the Bible is the Word of God.  We believe that it is infallibly inspired and given as a guide for our daily lives.

bullet

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the foundation stone of the church, the divine Son of God, and through His sinless life, and death on Calvary's cross, provides the only means of salvation for sinful man.

bullet

We believe that God is sovereign, in personal salvation and over every realm of life.

bullet

We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again to receive His believing children and to judge the world.

Our full doctrinal statement is found in the Westminster Confession of Faith (1649), the Larger and Shorter Catechisms, and the Testimony of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Ireland.

Our Worship

bullet

It is our desire to worship God as directed in the Bible and that in doing so we therefore sing only the inspired words of Scripture from the book of Psalms. These Biblical songs are an infallible offering to God as we use them week by week.

bullet

We also follow the pattern of the churches in the New Testament by singing with no instrumental accompaniment. (Ephesians 5.18-20)
